Bipasha Basu, Anil Kapoor and Manoj Joshi also star in the movie in supporting roles. Aditya and Sonia are engaged & found each other not on the same wavelength.Aditya arrives in Canada where his sister Simran (Bhagyashree) is living. Coincidence or destiny makes him bump into Jia (Katrina Kaif) more than once. Jia, daughter of business tycoon Yashwardhan Birla, has come to Canada alone to shop for her wedding with the business giant Karan Oberoi (Anil Kapoor).She had everything she could ask for in her childhood but never time from her ever-so-busy father. And now the man her father has chosen for her hardly had any time to spend with her either. That is when she found a friend in Aditya. Aditya and Jia manage to spend time with each other and, as time passes, the friendship between them grows and turns into love. What happens to this love story. In the year 1971 the Indian army has been sent to a deserted place in Longewala region of Punjab to war with the Pakistani Army. Under the command of Major Kuldeep Singh (Sunny Deol), 120 Indian soldiers patrol the desert to keep a check on the Pakistani army. But the Pakistani battalion is over 2000 soldiers strong, consisting of war tanks and all the ammunition needed to crush the Indian army. Now, 120 soldiers have to hold an entire night against 2000 Pakistani soldiers till help arrives in the morning. The Higher command orders Major Kuldeep Singh to retreat as it was impossible to fight. Major Kuldeep Singh and his battalion refuse to fall back and stand their ground to fight hordes of enemies till death. Prem was a flop, but this film even though penned by critics to have lot of flaws did excellent business in Bollywood. Its success was mainly attributed to Madhuri Dixit because of her crazy fan followers, and this was the next release of her after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun which was the highest grosser of Bollywood ever from 1994 until 2001. People wanted to call this film Rani instead of Raja. It was the fourth highest grosser of the year at the box office, and Madhuri Dixit was called the female Amitabh Bachan of Bollywood in many magazines including India Today. It ran in Mumbai as well as in other big cities like Bangalore for more than 30 weeks in theaters. Madhuri Dixit received a Filmfare Best Actress Award nomination, and won the Star Screen Award Best Actress for the year.The film had excellent music score by Nadeem-Shravan. Jai Santoshi Maa Full hindi bollywood movie starring Nusrat Bharucha and Rakesh Bapat.Mahima lives a middle-class lifestyle with her parents, Pooja and music teacher,Gautam. She is in love with a young man, Anuraag, whose foster father, Pratap, is very friendly with Gautam. Both Gautam and Pratap arrange to get the youngsters married, however, when they arrive at Pratap's house, they are met with open hostility by Pratap's wife, Shanti, her sons, Sukhpal, Shripal, and their respective wives Shobha and Suman, and do not approve of her as she did not bring in any dowry. Nevertheless, Mahima, a devotee of Devi Maa Santoshi, decides to win them over with her love and hard work. Then Anuraag is accused of stealing one Lakh rupees from the family's electronic showroom, he vehemently denies this, and even offers to leave for Bombay, earn the money and then return. After his departure, Mahima is abused, belittled, and treated like a servant. Things come to climax when Pratap becomes paralyzed due to an accident, which is blamed on Mahima; then two gold bangles go missing and Mahima is accused of stealing them; and finally Mahima is caught in a compromising position with Randhir, Suman's brother.
